Our goal is to keep the ordering process as simple as possible.  Shipping times vary between 1-3 business days on most orders and your item will be delivered in 3-10 business days after the order has been shipped.


Please read through this order guide so you know what to expect once you place an order with us.

Order Confirmation:

Once your order is placed with us you will receive a notification and confirmation email with all your order details. If you receive your confirmation email that means our system has properly processed your purchase and has pre-authorized your credit card. We will then submit your order to our transit team to reach out to our supplier and/or warehouse manager to ensure that your item is still in stock for immediate packaging and shipping. If for some reason your item happens to be out of stock or on backorder, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If the item(s) for your order become available for shipping within 4 days, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

 

Shipment process:

Upon receiving your order we will vary the stock level of your item and proceed with processing your card within 7 days from the date of your order. Once tracking numbers are available we will issue those to you through email to the email you provided at the time of your purchase. If for some reason you do not receive the tracking information from our team within 8 days of your order, do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@electricwheelchairsusa.com.

 

Damages:

Upon delivery please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery, or simply refuse delivery all together and it will be sent back to our supplier. If there is any concealed damage, please contact us immediately and send photos of the damage to info@electricwheelchairsusa.com. We will get in touch with the manufacturers on your behalf to process any claims.

 

Returns

  • Our policy lasts 30 days. The unit must be returned back to the manufacturer within 30 days of purchase. 
  • If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
  • To be eligible to return your item, it must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 
  • If the product is damaged or shows signs of use, you may be responsible costs to repair the item to return it to new and sellable condition.
  • All refunds are subject to paying the return freight shipping costs along with a 25% restocking fee.
  • Our return policy applies to cancellations made after an item has been physically shipped or refusal at the time of delivery.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.  You must contact Electric Wheelchairs USA to initiate the return.
  • There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable).

 

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 2-5 days.

Refund amount will be for your total purchase amount minus shipping costs and a 25% restocking fee.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company as it may take a little time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@electricwheelchairsusa.com.

 

Clearance items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately clearanced items cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@electricwheelchairsusa.com or call us at: 1-800-682-9444.

 

Shipping

To return your product, a sales rep will send you the shipping instructions as they vary from product to product.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

When returning your unit, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Restocking Fee

Returned products will require a restocking fee of up 25% of the original purchase price. Customer must also pay for all shipping costs associated with the purchase and return. 

 

Cancellations:

Any order that gets cancelled after 24 hours is subject to a 10% admin fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If the order has left one of our warehouses, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for the return shipping fees as well.

The owner, Robert, started Electric Wheelchairs USA to help those who want to become mobile and regain their independence, no matter if they are older, are healing, have an injury, a disability, or suffer from obesity.

 

 

In 2013, Robert was introduced to electric wheelchairs when his next door neighbor Leroy broke his hip and was not able to walk.  He needed help getting around because Leroy lived an active lifestyle and he did not want to give up, so Robert was determined to find a solution to give Leroy his independence back. 

Robert was raised by his mother and came from a single parent home.  Knowing that, Leroy took Robert under his wing while he was growing up and the two became very close and formed a special bond.

    • Can this scooter be taken on a plane?

      It is airline approved as it comes with a sealed battery but because of its size, it is best to contact the airline you are traveling with to make sure it is ok to travel with.

    • Does this scooter have front and rear suspension ? Tks

    We have been happy with the scooter itself (the way it runs and rides.) We have not been happy with the issue of it coming damaged and to date have not been updated on how this issue is going to be resolved. That in itself is very disappointing. Fortunately the large crack on the left side near the handlebar does not affect using the scooter. There are many older adults living in the facility where they see this scooter AND inquire about it. To date, people are inquiring about the crack issue and how it is being resolved which could or could not effect their decision when ordering a scooter.

    I've used the scooter for 2 months now, I really like the battery life and the way the scooter performs. It has great ground clearance and a really short turning radius. The only complaint I have for the scooter is a safety feature. When engaging forward or reverse drive the scooter hesitates for a second then starts very slow before picking up speed. If you are wanting to get out of the way quick it is not going to happen. I like the scooter and would recommend for others.
