If you have a problem with your scooter, simply call one of our expert customer service representatives; Electric Wheelchairs USA will have the parts shipped directly to you - free of charge. Every effort will be made to return your scooter to working condition in the shortest time possible. The following parts will be repaired or replaced at our discretion, free of charge, for the following allowable time periods from the date of purchase.
Lifetime Limited Warranty - Product Frame, Seat Post, Platform, Frame Welds
24 Months Limited Warranty - Electronic Controller, Motor/Gearbox Assembly
12 Month Warranty - Batteries
The following are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship at time of delivery and are not included in any additional warranties:
Plastic Shrouds and Footrests, Upholstery and Seating, Armrest Pads, Tires and Tubes, Anti-Tip Wheels, Floor Mats, Plastic Connections, Metal Connection Pins, Hardware, Nuts and Bolts, Brake Pads, Front Rigging Mounting Brackets and any other piece that is not listed in the above warranty.
The warranty does not apply if the unit has been altered in any way, misuse or accident has occurred, batteries were not properly stored, exceeding the weight limit of the unit and acts of nature.
New or refurbished parts may be used.
Our goal is to keep the ordering process as simple as possible. Shipping times vary between 1-3 business days on most orders and your item will be delivered in 3-10 business days after the order has been shipped.

Order Confirmation:
Once your order is placed with us you will receive a notification and confirmation email with all your order details. Shipment process:
Upon receiving your order we will vary the stock level of your item and proceed with processing your card within 7 days from the date of your order. Once tracking numbers are available we will issue those to you through email to the email you provided at the time of your purchase. Damages:
Upon delivery please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery, or simply refuse delivery all together and it will be sent back to our supplier. If there is any concealed damage, please contact us immediately and send photos of the damage to info@electricwheelchairsusa.com. We will get in touch with the manufacturers on your behalf to process any claims.
Returns
- Our policy lasts 30 days. The unit must be returned back to the manufacturer within 30 days of purchase.
- If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
- To be eligible to return your item, it must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
- If the product is damaged or shows signs of use, you may be responsible costs to repair the item to return it to new and sellable condition.
- All refunds are subject to paying the return freight shipping costs along with a 25% restocking fee.

Restocking Fee
Returned products will require a restocking fee of up 25% of the original purchase price. Customer must also pay for all shipping costs associated with the purchase and return.
Cancellations:
Any order that gets cancelled after 24 hours is subject to a 10% admin fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If the order has left one of our warehouses, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for the return shipping fees as well.

MEET THE FOUNDER
The owner, Robert, started Electric Wheelchairs USA to help those who want to become mobile and regain their independence, no matter if they are older, are healing, have an injury, a disability, or suffer from obesity.
In 2013, Robert was introduced to electric wheelchairs when his next door neighbor Leroy broke his hip and was not able to walk. He needed help getting around because Leroy lived an active lifestyle and he did not want to give up, so Robert was determined to find a solution to give Leroy his independence back.
Robert was raised by his mother and came from a single parent home. Knowing that, Leroy took Robert under his wing while he was growing up and the two became very close and formed a special bond.

Restocking Fee
Returned products will require a restocking fee of up 25% of the original purchase price. Customer must also pay for all shipping costs associated with the purchase and return.
Cancellations:
Any order that gets cancelled after 24 hours is subject to a 10% admin fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If the order has left one of our warehouses, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for the return shipping fees as well.

MEET THE FOUNDER
The owner, Robert, started Electric Wheelchairs USA to help those who want to become mobile and regain their independence, no matter if they are older, are healing, have an injury, a disability, or suffer from obesity.
In 2013, Robert was introduced to electric wheelchairs when his next door neighbor Leroy broke his hip and was not able to walk. He needed help getting around because Leroy lived an active lifestyle and he did not want to give up, so Robert was determined to find a solution to give Leroy his independence back.
Robert was raised by his mother and came from a single parent home. Knowing that, Leroy took Robert under his wing while he was growing up and the two became very close and formed a special bond.

Up until this point, Robert had didn't know much about mobility scooters or electric wheelchairs. He did some research online but couldn't find an online store that was easy to shop or had a wide-selection and educational articles to help him learn about power chairs and electric scooters. Unfortunately, there is only one color choice for this unit.

We do not advise riding in the rain as all of our units are electric.

Unfortunately, this unit does not break down. You can remove the seat and fold the tiller down slightly.

Who does the service on your scooter when you purchase it online? Who does warranty work?
This unit is covered under the manufacturer's warranty. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty on the frame, 2 year warranty on the electronic components and drive train, and 1 year on the batteries. Most of issues that arise, Drive Medical can troubleshoot them over the phone with you. However, for the first year, if its something they cannot assist with you over the phone, they will send a technician to your house. Drive Medical Cobra GT4 Heavy Duty Power Scooter
Its huge but it gets you over terrain that you otherwise woud not be able to get to and very fast. I now know why there is a seat belt on this. when turning at high speed you can feel it but the chair is extremly comfortable. I went from cement to grass and back at full speed with no problem, the shocks really work well. my onlly problem is I wish they would make a manual hitch for it, it is too big for anything I have seen yet. looks like you need a trailer or truck. It will fit in the minivan, but you can't take much else.

I am 360 lbs and this scooter performs well with me. I haven't taken it very far. I just need it to get around the VA and maybe some sight seeing on an RV trip.

Very fast compared to other scooters but requires a lot of practice to overcome some of the handling. Horn is useless outside in traffic and on tghe street. Do not like the deceration mode. I find it to be unsafe when on a road. Should make sure people realize that whe coming off a strret to cross road, slow down. Lips on declines can be hazardas. Would like to have a mileage counter that would be resetable.
