The Transport Plus by EV Rider is sleek, stylish and easy to operate. It is perfect for the active traveler as it can be disassembled in a snap, folded and stored away for transportation. It also comes equipped with a lithium ion battery, which makes it safe to take with on an airplane. In fact, this mobility scooter is airline approved.
The EV Rider Transport Plus is 36-inches long by 21-inches wide. When folded the frame measures 31-inches long by 19-inches wide, can stand on its casters and be wheeled like luggage. It weighs 70 pounds in total but when the battery is removed it weighs only 46 pounds.
Taking safety into consideration, this scooter can only be operated with a key. It can also be programmed to limit how fast or slow it can ride. It comes with a full lighting package including front and rear lights. The dashboard has a digital display showing a battery level indicator and a horn.
It has a 270W motor powered from the rear wheels. The flat free wheels are 7 inches for the rear and 8-inches for the front. The Transport Plus has a weight capacity of 250 pounds, a climbing angle of 6 degrees, a top speed of 4 mph, and a driving range of 10 – 15 miles. It also has a tight turning radius of 32 inches and ground clearance of 2.4 inches.
