The Merits P322 Vision CF is another full-sized power wheelchair by Merits Health. At 154 pounds it is considerably light for a full-sized power wheelchair.
It is equipped with an 18-inch-wide captain’s chair which swivels 180 degrees and has adjustable armrests that flip inward and outward, an adjustable headrest and a reclinable seat back. Because it is a front wheel drive power wheelchair, it has better maneuverability and a tight turning radius.
It has 6-inch rear wheels and 2-inch front anti-tip wheels providing extra security especially when attempting to go up steep inclines. It has a very well-designed operational joystick with a speed control dial and a horn. It has a flip-up footplate with elevating leg rests.
The unit can be disassembled in seconds for easier transportation. When disassembled, the heaviest piece weighs 62.7 pounds.
The P322 has a weight capacity of 300 pounds, a maximum operating range of 18 miles, top speed of 4 mph, a turning radius of 22.50 inches and ground clearance of 2.40 inches. It also has a maximum incline rating of 6 degrees.
