The Merits P301 Gemini is one of the more high-performing power wheelchairs on the market today. There are many benefits and features that sets the chair apart that we will get into in a moment.
LARGE WEIGHT CAPACITY & COMFORT SEAT:
This chair comes standard with a 450 lbs weight capacity, which is one of the highest weight capacities you will find on the market. You can also get the Gemini with an elevating seat , which can raise and lower the seat up to 10". Important to note, if you select the elevating seat option, the weight capacity reduces to 350 lbs. The P301 standard seat size is 22" x 22" that does swivel to the side, tilt back, and fold down.
This makes it convenient when you are sitting a table, want to lean back to take a nap, or need to transport or store the unit in a compact area. Having a swivel seat is rare with a power chair that has this high of a weight capacity. The armrests do flip up and can be adjusted outward to give the user more of a seating area as well.
LONG BATTERY RANGE & FAST SPEED:
This power chair operates off of two 50AH batteries. They provide enough power to give the user a 20 mile battery range per charge. Depending on the weight of the user and type of terrain you are on this can be slightly less. To charge the unit, you simply plug the charger into the joystick, so you don't have to crouch down or bend over to plug it in. Once the chair is fully charged, the charger shuts off, so there is no need to worry about over charging the unit as well.
Most power wheelchairs offer a top speed of 4 mph. However, the Gemini has a top speed of 5 mph, so it is slightly faster than what you would normally expect in a power chair of this size.

Warranty Information for the Gemini
Power Chair Warranty – Lifetime Limited
Merits Health Products, Inc. warrants the main frame against defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime expectancy of this power chair (5 years).
For one (1) year from the date of purchase, Merits will replace at their option to the original purchaser, free of charge, any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative in the material or workmanship: Electronic controllers, harnesses, chargers, motors. Labor charges incurred in the installation or repair of the above mentioned parts plus all freight charges are not included in the warranty.
Warranty exclusions: Tires, plastic or rubber parts, upholstery/armpads, painted surfaces, seating, bearings.
Merits Health Products, Inc. will repair or replace parts as required, provided that an authorization for such return has been acquired by an established dealer and that the part or parts in question are returned fully insured with freight prepaid to us within the prescribed period of warranty. Labor charges incurred in the installation or repair of the above mentioned parts plus all freight charges are not included in the warranty.
Merits Health Products, Inc will not warranty any parts damaged by improper installation and/or repair on the part of the individual owner’s neglect, accident or misuse, nor those parts altered or serviced by an agency not authorized by us.

Damages:
Immediately upon delivery, carefully inspect the packaging of your
item(s). If there is noticeable damage to the packaging make note of it
when signing for delivery, or refuse delivery and it will be sent back
to the manufacturer. If there is no or minimal damage to the packaging;
but you discover damage to the item once you unpackage it, contact us
immediately (within 48 hours) and send photos of the damage to info@electricwheelchairsusa.com. We will contact the manufacturer on your behalf to process any applicable claims.
We believe that you deserve the best prices online and we work hard to do ensure that. If you see another online website that has a lower price than us within 6 months of your date of purchase, let us know and we’ll be happy to refund the difference to your original payment method.
